Vintage Japanese Wooden Lacquer Serving Tray, Obon 

This vintage lacquer Japanese serving tray is made of wood. It is vermilion inside, black on the bottom, and natural brown color on the rim and the side.  It is round with slightly raised sides so drinks cannot easily slide off. 

Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one’s home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
