Vintage Japanese Wooden Lacquer Serving Tray, Obon

Mainly lacquered with a rich brown color on the top, this vintage brushed lacquer Japanese serving tray is made of wood. It is round with slightly raised sides so drinks cannot easily slide off. The top surface is glossy and smooth, and the side features its carved-trace-like surface. It comes with the original paper box.
Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one’s home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
