Vintage Japanese Wooden Snack Bowl
This is a traditional Japanese vintage snack bowl, or kashiki, typically used for serving snacks, such as senbei crackers or sweets, to guests in one’s home, office, or other establishments. It is also commonly used in tea ceremonies to serve and display traditional sweets. It can also be used for multipurpose functions such as holding fruit. It features a natural wooden grain and Kashokubiki, carved rings outside and vermilion lacquer inside.
