Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Serving Tray w/Box

This is a Japanese vintage lacquered wooden tray, or Obon, typically used for serving drinks and or snacks to guests in one’s home, business, etc. A glossy caramel brown in Hida Shunkei style with gorgeous wood grain on display, this sturdy rectangular tray provides both function and beautiful decor. The original box is included.

• Item weight: 400 grams
• Packed weight: 1400 grams
• Approx. 24 cm long x 36 cm wide x 2.5 cm tall
• Good condition considering its age. Light scratches. Small imperfections from the lacquering process. Box has tears. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
