Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Tabletop Organizer w/Box

This is a vintage Japanese tabletop or desk organizer made of wood. It is a dark brown in the kamakurabori style (hammered/carved pattern). On one side is a carving of a small cartoonish dog. It contains three compartments accessible from the top. This item turns when pushed and is ideal for storing stationary, arts and crafts tools, and other miscellaneous items. The original box is included.
