Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Small Plate

This item is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden round small plate (mamezara). It is coated in a glossy chocolate brown lacquer with handpainted res and yellow leaf designs. This lightweight round plate is the ideal size for serving soy sauce, condiments/spices, or garnishes. It can also be used to hold small jewelry, coins, or beads.
