Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Serving Tray

This is a Japanese vintage wooden serving tray, or Obon. This square lacquered serving tray Is black on the back side with the top surface being a layered brown lacquer. It can be used for serving a variety of things such as tea, snacks, a meal, etc.
Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one’s home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
