Vintage Japanese Wooden Lacquer Serving Tray

Coated with a thin layer of black lacquer, giving it a black/brown look, this Japanese serving tray is made of solid wood. It is rectangular with slightly raised sides so drinks cannot easily slide off, and it has a bold line design on the top surface. The sides have cutout oval and cloud-like designs.
Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one’s home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
