Vintage Japanese Wooden Lacquer Serving Tray, Obon 

This vintage lacquered Japanese serving tray is made of wood. It is square and solid black that allows the wood’s natural grain to shine through. It has raised, elegantly curved sides with a red lacquer rim. 
Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one’s home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
