Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Snack Cup

This is a Japanese vintage lacquered wooden cup or small bowl used to serve small snacks, such as nuts and small senbei, while serving and drinking sake. It is a stark black with a red and gold ring around the outside edge. It can also be used for storing jewelry and other small trinkets.
