Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Tabletop Organizer

This is a vintage Japanese tabletop or desk organizer made of wood. It is lacquered a reddish-brown color in the kamakurabori style (carved scales/hammered look). Carved rabbits playing in maple leaves and cherry blossoms are the main design on one side. It contains four compartments accessible from the top with a handle. This item is ideal for storing stationary, arts and crafts tools, and other miscellaneous items. The larger compartment is the perfect size for mail, books, or magazines.
