Vintage Japanese Lacquered Lidded Bowl
A glossy black with gold makie, this vintage lacquered wooden lidded bowl is a beautifully decorative addition to any traditional Japanese dinnerware set. The lid features a gold makie of a pinecone and pine branches on the outside, and pine needles on the inside. Inside the bowl is dark brown, almost black. This particular bowl is considered a owan, a bowl made for rice, soups, or larger side dishes.
