Vintage Japanese Lacquered Lidded Bowl 

A matte light brown with black on the inside, this vintage lacquered wooden lidded bowl is a beautifully decorative addition to any traditional Japanese dinnerware set. The lid features a red and gold makie design of dragonflies and plants. The outside of the bowl has a very kamakurabori-like style. This particular bowl is considered a owan, a bowl made for rice, soups, or larger side dishes.
