Vintage Japanese Wooden Lacquerd Decorative Plate

Handcarved in the kamakurabori style with leaves and a mountain scene with a village and a boat on the sea, this decorative plate is lacquered with a beautiful crimson color with light and dark green accents and a black back side. This item’s main design (scenery) and kanji characters were carved after the lacquering process and the wood beneath is revealed.
