Vintage Japanese Lacquered Bowl 

This is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden shallow bowl. It is a classic red on the inside with the rest a stark black color. It has a gorgeous makie gold and red design of pine needles and plum blossoms. This particular style of bowl is called nimonowan, and is typically used for presenting side dishes. It is a beautiful addition to any traditional Japanese dinnerware set.
