Vintage Japanese Resin Lacquer Replica Small Tray w/Box

This is a vintage Japanese resin lacquer replica decorative tray, or Obon. It is small and the perfect size for jewelry, key, small trinkets, and also can be used as a money tray.  A glossy black on the back side, this tray’s top side is decorated with gold leaf and hand-painted purple and green irises (hanashoubu). The gold leaf surface is secured with a clear lacquer coating. It comes in a white paper box.
