Japanese Wooden Sakazuki Sake Cup

This is a vintage Japanese wooden brown lacquered sake cup, Sakazuki. Inside the cup is an elegant gold makie image of winding plants.
Sakazuki refers specifically to flat sake cups. Ochoko is a small cup that can be used to drink sake in one or two sips. Guinomi is a cup large enough to fit your nose when drinking sake.
