Japanese Kiyomizu Porcelain Yunomi Teacup

This vintage Japanese Kiyomizu ware (Kyo ware) porcelain teacup features a colorful design with big flowers, likely peony flowers. The inside of the cup is white, with a blue geometric pattern on the upper part.
This cup is called yunomi, a cylindrical cup made for serving and drinking sencha (standard looseleaf tea). These cups are typically brought to guest in one’s home, a business, or a restaurant on a lacquered obon tray.
