Vintage Japanese Sango Coral Hyotan Gourd Obidome

This vintage Japanese obidome, a decorative item similar to a brooch affixed to the front of an obijime, is made from pink coral and depicts a hyotan gourd with tassels. It is mounted on a metal plate with two hooks to accommodate a cord. This item comes in a wooden box.

• Excellent condition considering age. Some scratches on the back (metal part) and on the wooden box. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
