Vintage Japanese Wooden Oke Bucket

This is a handmade traditional Japanese wooden bucket made for storing water, rice, or other food product. It is also commonly used for making pickles. Stout, sturdy, and a natural light brown color, it is made from precisely cut slats of wood held together by two copper metal plates via tension. This beautiful classic piece is also perfect for adding traditional Japanese flair to any home or office decor.
