Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. This Oribe style bowl has a beige crackle glaze with a dark green glossy glaze and some brown floral illustrations and horizontal lines. There is a sign near the foot.

Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
