Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. It is a dark brown glaze with green drips. There is a floral design on the front. This piece is signed on the bottom. It is easy to handle. 

Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
