Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. It is a green with a floral design featuring white and red lilies of the valley with their leaves all around the bowl. It is easy to handle.

Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
