Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It is beige with blue designs. The designs consist of an illustration of a tree on one side and characters hand-written on another. This bowl has three cutouts on its base. It is sturdy and easy to handle. Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
