Vtg Japanese Zuishin Hina Doll 

This handsome vintage samurai zuishin (military officer in charge of the protection of the prince) sadaijin ohinasama doll decorated in green, red, and silver silk is the perfect addition to any existing hina set or to add gorgeous Eastern flair to any home decor. 

The Hinamatsuri (Doll’s Festival) in Japan is a traditional event celebrated on March 3rd every year, primarily to wish for the healthy growth and happiness of girls. Hina dolls are an essential part of Hinamatsuri and are prominently displayed in homes during the festival.

• Good condition. Right hand is missing. Right side on the front is damaged. Arrow on the front is broken and missing. Top of the hat (ken-ei) is torn on back side. Sword has been repaired with tape. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
