Vintage Japanese Standing Ouchi Lantern for Obon Festival w/Box

This is a vintage Japanese electric Ouchi lantern. Ouchi lanterns are standing lanterns with three legs that are displayed during the summer Obon festival to commemorate ancestors. The paper lantern has a blue, green, and white image of flowers and has two light blue tassels on the bottom. The entire wooden lacquered black frame with gold makie chrysanthemums comes apart and fits flat in its original box. It has an electric light, but a candle can also be used.
