Vtg Japanese Traditional Paddle Hagoita  

Hagoita is the wooden paddle used to hit shuttlecocks made of soapberry seeds and bird feathers, that is used to play the traditional Japanese pastime called Hanetsuki ( Japanese badminton) during the New Year. This is a three-dimensional fabric art (Oshie-Hagoita) of a woman or geisha in a kimono. The design is beautiful, so it would be nice to have room decoration.
