Vtg Japanese Clay Kimono Girl Decoration

This is a vintage Japanese clay figurine of a young girl in a kimono. She is carrying a small chest or perhaps a cage for a bird or insect. It is made of unglazed white clay. This is a beautiful item for general display as-is, but also can be painted.
