Japanese Ceramic Pottery Yunomi Teacup

This vintage Japanese ceramic teacup is a sandy beige color with natural imperfections. It has black kanji characters circling the outside. This cup is large enough to be comfortably held between one’s hands and has a banded texture to grip.
This cup is called yunomi, made for serving and drinking sencha (standard loose-leaf tea). It is typically brought to guests in one’s home, a business, or a restaurant on a lacquered obon tray.
