Japanese Ceramic Yunomi Teacup

This vintage Japanese teacup is glazed green and ivory white in the unique shape and design of a piece of bamboo. This small cup is called yunomi or a smaller, more cylindrical cup made for serving and drinking sencha (standard looseleaf tea).
These cups are typically brought to guest in one’s home, a business, or a restaurant on a lacquered obon tray.
