Vtg Japanese Ceramic The Thinker Statue

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic rendition of The Thinker sculpture by Auguste Rodin. Much like other famous sculptures throughout history, this particular piece was used as a model for teaching drawing/sketching various angles of human bodies to art students. It is all black to mimic the look of the original bronze sculpture and has a blue felt pad on the bottom to protect surfaces from scratching.
