Japanese Ceramic Teacup, Yunomi

This is a Japanese vintage ceramic tea cup (Yunomi). The teacup is an unglazed textured dark brown color with a deep gray glaze covering the inside. There is a rustic charm to this piece as it was handmade. There is a signature carved into the side. This cup is for serving sencha (steeped loose leaf tea). This cup is the larger of a set of two (traditionally the men’s cup in a set).
