Vtg Japanese Ceramic Tea Bowl W/ Box

This is a Japanese vintage ceramic tea bowl, or chawan, in the black Raku style. It has a black glossy glaze with tiny brown spots covering up the entire bowl, except the base. There is a stamp near the base. It is sold in a paper box, perfect for storage when not in use. This bowl can be used for tea ceremony as well as for daily use. It is an elegant piece, suitable for any season.
