Vintage Japanese Ceramic Suiban for Ikebana Flower Arrangement

This is a vintage ceramic Japanese flower vase, or suiban. It is glazed a glossy beige glaze. It also features a crackled glaze. This suiban is tall with a wide brim. 
Suiban means “water tray” and typically houses the spiked weight (kenzan) that hold ikebana flower stems in place, but can also be used as a base for a flower pot, or even a potted bonsai.

• Good condition considering age. Discolorations. Large glaze cracks on inside. Some imperfections in glaze from production. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
