Vintage Japanese Ceramic Stacking Tea Set

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic tea set. Stacked upon one another, this unique piece has a small teapot (with metal mesh to hold tea leaves or teabag), a generously sized teacup that fits snuggly underneath, as well as a matching saucer. Overall, it is glazed with a crackled beige and has handpainted red chrysanthemums as well as other floral or leafy motifs throughout. It is so compact that it takes up less space than all three pieces typically would in a cupboard!
