This is a Japanese vintage ceramic spoon. It is small and features a white glaze with blue accent on the handle. Made primarily for eating chawanmushi, a traditional Japanese savory steamed egg custard dish, it is also an excellent choice for puddings, flan, and gelatin desserts as the scoop of the spoon is deep.
