This is a vintage Japanese ceramic pottery plate. This square small-sized plate, also called sara or kozara, has a gray base color with black brush strokes and a white line overlay. The glaze has a rough texture throughout. This item is perfect for small side dishes, condiments, dipping sauces, or simply to hold small jewelry or keys.
