Vtg Japanese Pottery Sake Bottle Kayoi-Tokkuri 

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic sake bottle. It is called a Kayoi-Tokkuri and is used to pour sake. The commuting sake bottle became popular as a rental container for liquor stores in the Edo period when sake began to be consumed daily. This gray bottle has brown lettering and a cork on the top opening.

• Good condition considering age. Light damage on the cork. Light brown stain. Small glaze imperfection from production. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
