Japanese Hanging Scroll Weights Fuchin

This is a pair of Japanese hanging scroll (kakejiku) weights, fuchin. With a crackled green glaze, the main feature of this piece is round ceramic spheres paired with golden silk tassels. Fuchin is a decoration that hangs on both ends of the bottom of a hanging scroll. It’s a decoration and a weight.
