Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. This piece is a perfect example of classic shino style, a white pocked glaze, and a rich terracotta-brown base.  It has kiln effects, such as glaze pools on the outside and crackles on the inside. There is a signature around the foot. It is sturdy and easy to handle.
Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
