Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. This bowl has a glossy gray glaze on an earthy brown base.  It features a speckled texture, a white brushstroke pattern(hakeme), incised lines, and wheel-throwing rings (rokurome). 
Green tea bowls are traditionally used to prepare and drink green tea during tea ceremonies, but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
