Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. The shape is slightly irregular with a gently flattened section on one side. The inside bottom has a textured whirl pattern, chadamari. The glaze varies in tone depending on thickness, from darker to lighter brown.
Green tea bowls are traditionally used to prepare and drink green tea during tea ceremonies, but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
