Vtg Japanese Ceramic Flower Vase Kabin

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic flower vase, or kabin. This vase, shaped like a cylindrical bottle, has a white glaze and brown mottles that formed during firing. The side surface has shallow grooves called rokurome, made on the pottery wheel.  It is tall and has a short, narrow neck.  It can be used for all types of flower arrangements, both ikebana and casual, and also as a statement piece.
