Vtg Japanese Ceramic Flower Vase Kabin 

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic flower vase, or kabin. This vase has brown and beige glaze. The body has a broader bottom and a thinner top, and its surface has a carved vertical design. A handle is put on the top. The unglazed bottom shows the earthy texture.  This vase is made for a single flower (ichirin zashi) or a few thin-stemmed flowers/branches. The simplicity of the design makes this an elegant choice for minimalist ikebana arrangements.
