Vintage Iron Branding Stamp

This is a vintage cast iron branding stamp called yaki-in. This piece is meant to be placed over fire or coals and is used to mark wood, leather, fabrics, and most famously Japanese sweets such as manju. It has a small image featuring a bridge.
