This is a vintage Japanese calligraphy reisho, rinsho copybook. Rinsho in calligraphy refers to carefully looking through what are considered masterpieces of calligraphy (= classics) over the years and imitating them copied as they are written. For example, if you think, “I want to write a piece with a gentle image!” Then you can learn how to use “gentle” writing.
