Vtg Japanese Calligraphy Box Suzuribako w/ Ink Stone

This is a vintage Japanese calligraphy lidded box, Suzuribako, containing its ink stone (suzuri). This Japanese calligraphy box is round and has a gold lid and a red and black underside, mimicking a lacquerware box. The lid is adorned with three different types of Autumn flowers. The box contains an ink stone and some spots to place other items needed when practicing Japanese calligraphy. This item comes with its paper storage box.
