Vtg Japanese Buddhist Amulet

This is a Japanese Buddhist amulet. This image is Kobo Daishi. It is said that in 814, Kobo Daishi (Kukai) was on a pilgrimage in the east part of Japan and made a tour of Mikawa Province, stopping at Henjoin, Saifukuji, and Mitsuzoin, and carved a statue of Daishi himself.
