Vtg Japanese Buddhist Alar Decorative Part

This is a pair of vintage Japanese parts from a Buddhist altar. They are decorative pillars made of wood with molded resin decorations ( flowers and what appears to be a monk), as well as embossed copper brackets with flowers and other traditional Japanese patterns. There is a resin end cap on one end that acts as a buffer between contact points when installed. They can be used as a spare part, for repair, or as a decorative part. Gold paint is applied only to the front side.

• Good condition considering age. Scratches and wear of gold paint in places. Copper plates have tarnished a little. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
• We found this item at an antique auction in Tajimi, Gifu in Japan.
