Vtg Japanese Buddhist Altar Decorative Kouran Railing

This is a vintage Japanese part of a Buddhist altar called kouran. It is the decorative railing that decorates the front part of the top step of the butsudan. It is a set of four pieces made of wood; two large angled pieces and two small end pieces. It is lacquered with a gold color and the bottom base is black. It can be used as spare parts for repair or as a general decoration.
